Açıklama ve Uygulama
SOLARGEL-E is a booster-sensitive emulsion explosive. Although it is generally used in wet holes instead of ANFO, it can also be used in dry holes in order to provide better fragmentation in all rock formations and to reduce the explosive cost of operation. Also, for better bottom cutting, fragmentation and displacement, it is recommended to use SOLARGEL-E as bottom charge. SOLARGEL-E is not affected by water. It does not lose its performance in water. It sinks to the bottom of the hole as it is denser than water, meanwhile it displaces the water up by taking its lace. SOLARGEL-E, based on its energy release and blasting parameters, provides excellent results in blasting operations. By changing emulsion and ANFO proportions in SOLARGEL-E, it is possible to produce explosive compositions for specific rock formations. It is possible to obtain explosives with higher breakage energy for hard rock formations as well as higher gas yield capacity for better rock displacement on soft rock formations. SOLARGEL-E is offered either as a cartridge product or as a bulk explosive and can be used for direct hole charging through special bulk charging trucks.

Sensitivity
SOLARGEL-E is not a cap-sensitive explosive. Therefore, it needs to be initiated with a cap-sensitive emulsion explosive. We recommend SUPERPOWER90 as cap-sensitive product to initiate SOLARGEL-E.
