Description and Application
SUPREME ELEMENTED DET is a delayed capsule head designed for use by combining it with a shock tube and rubber casing of the required length. It is used to produce non-electric capsules. There are primarily four types of Elemented DET, namely Type A, Type B, Type C, and Type D. The first two, Type A and Type B, are designed for surface mainline use. They are produced with low energy and millisecond delay. Type C and Type D are used for downhole applications.
Usage Recommendations
SUPREME ELEMENTED DET is assembled by placing it into a SUPREME TUBE for direct use. Explosives of Type A and Type B consist of low energy millisecond delay explosives found in a plastic connector block. It is designed for surface delay in non-electric blasting setups in quarries, surface coal mines, open-pit mines, and construction projects. Capsules of Type B, Type C, and Type D, used with shock tubes and other non-electric delay systems, provide flexibility and ease of use, offering both short delay and long delay non-electric firing systems for blasting designs.
Advantages
Ready to use and easy to install,
Provides a solution to stock costs and stock mix-up,
Reduces operating and shipping costs,
Can be used in all weather conditions.

Storage
Explosives should be stored in accordance with the “Regulation on Non-Monopolized Explosives and Related Articles” under Decision No. 87/12028. For best results, store in a well-ventilated, approved explosive material warehouse at moderate temperatures and dry conditions. When stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated explosive storage facility, SUPREME ELEMENTED DET has a shelf life of 2 years from the production date. However, exposure to extreme hot or cold conditions may cause early degradation of the product.
