Description and Application

SUPREMEDET’S LPD is a non-electric firing system used to detonate a shock-sensitive explosive in underground blasting operations with a long delay range. The Cobra clip mounted on the shock tube allows easy connection to the detonating fuse. If desired, it can be fired with SUPREMEDET’S STL non-electric capsules. It is manufactured in various delay times to improve performance by providing enough time intervals for rock operations in blasting. It consists of 30 series to provide a delay range of 100-10,000 ms. This ensures that underground blasting models can be fully applied to the field. It is not affected by wet environments, harsh weather conditions, radio waves, or static electricity, providing a safer use. Due to its spiral wrapping, it is easier and faster to distribute capsules into holes underground, and the delay numbers written in large fonts make it easier to distinguish capsules in the underground darkness.

Advantages

– It is a very safe firing system. – It never damages the column charge in the hole or desensitizes the explosive. – It provides excellent fragmentation after blasting. – It is extremely easy to use. – Capsules can be produced in desired tube lengths. – It provides flexibility in fully controlled delay and blasting control. – It is safe from static electricity. – It minimizes environmental problems caused by blasting. – It is resistant to tearing and friction. – It can be used easily in harsh environmental conditions. – It is easy and fast to use.

Usage Recommendations

SUPREMEDET’S LPD non-electric surface capsules can be fired with electric capsules or a minimum of 5 g/m detonating fuse. Connections should not be overly tight or loose. Shock tubes must be handled without causing damage during filling and firing. Since explosive materials are present at the capsule head, it can detonate uncontrollably due to impact, friction, or high heat.

Storage

Explosive materials must be stored in accordance with the “Regulations on Ammunition and Similar Products Not Subject to Monopoly” with decision number 87/12028. For optimal results, store in a well-ventilated, approved explosive material storage facility at moderate temperatures and dry conditions. SUPREMEDET’S LPD has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture when stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated explosive storage facility. However, exposure to extreme hot or cold weather conditions may lead to premature deterioration of the product.
