Description and Application

The SUPREME AL electric capsules are made of Aluminum material, with an explosive power of grade 8, designed to fire products sensitive to dynamite and similar capsules. They are produced in delay-free, short delay, and long delay types. They are used as hole capsules in all surface explosions and underground explosions without grizu risk. They can also be used as a starter to trigger shock tubes for starting non-electric capsules.

They may be affected by harsh weather conditions, radio waves, and static electricity. Therefore, great care should be taken during use and storage.

Usage Recommendations

Before placing the SUPREME AL electric capsules into the charging, their integrity should be checked with an ohmmeter specifically designed for measuring electric capsules. During use, precautions should be taken to prevent static electricity, and anti-static clothing and equipment should be used. Care should be taken with connection cables during use. They should not be used near telephones, radios, and power cables, and connections should be insulated in wet environments. All capsules in the circuit should be from the same resistance group. Capsules with different resistance groups should not be used together. Before detonation, the entire circuit should be checked with an ohmmeter. Only specially designed magnets for detonation should be used to fire the system, and the magnet capacity should not be lower than the total resistance of the system. Aluminum-cased capsules should not be used in mines with gas risk.

Storage

Explosive materials must be stored in accordance with the “Regulation on the Procedures and Principles Regarding Explosive Materials and Similar Products Not Under the Monopoly Control” with Decision No. 87/12028. For the best results, store in a well-ventilated, approved explosive material storage facility at moderate temperatures and dry conditions. If stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated explosive storage facility, SUPREME AL has a shelf life of 2 years from the manufacturing date. However, exposure to extreme hot or cold conditions may cause early deterioration of the product.
